Identifinders International is honored to have worked with the Calaveras County Cold Case Task Force and Intermountain Forensics in the identification of Reginald Frisby, a 29-year-old African American victim of the notorious serial killers Leonard Lake and Charles Ng. The Calaveras County Task Force led by Lt. Tim Sturm, has tasked itself with identifying 1000s of fragments of human remains discovered at the Wilseyville residence of the two killers and elsewhere in Calaveras County. It is suspected there were at least 25 victims, including Frisby.
Identifinders wished to acknowledge our forensic genetic genealogist Mr. Joe Barrus, for his research that led to Frisby’s identity. Frisby family had not had contact with him since 1984, and had not reported him missing. For more details about the case, click here.
